A basement transformation we’re really proud of!

From an unfinished space with exposed framing and concrete walls to a warm, functional living area with a brand-new bathroom. This project added valuable living space and created a comfortable place for the family to relax, entertain, and enjoy their home.

Basement finishes are one of the best ways to increase usable square footage and add value to your home—especially here in the foothills where space matters.

Our team handled the build from start to finish, including framing, drywall, flooring, lighting, and the new bathroom addition.

🚨 Foothills Friends — Be Ready for Possible Power Outages 🚨

With Red Flag warnings and high winds in the forecast, our dry foothills are especially vulnerable to downed power lines and fast-moving wildfire conditions. Even if nothing happens, being prepared gives you peace of mind.

Here are a few simple steps you can take today:

🔦 Have flashlights and fresh batteries ready
🔌 Stage generators in a safe, well-ventilated outdoor location
🛁 Fill your bathtub with extra water (for flushing toilets, etc.)
💧 Store extra drinking water
📱 Charge phones and backup battery packs
🧰 Prepare an emergency kit
🥫 Stock up on non-perishable food
🔥 Review your fire evacuation plan

If a fire were to start, be ready to leave quickly. Keep important documents, medications, and essentials in an easy-to-grab location. Make sure everyone in your household knows the plan.

It’s that time of the year again: The Fairplay Flume’s People’s Choice Voting is now officially open! Cast your votes for everything from Best New Business to Best Barista East and West of Kenosha.

From dungeon to dream laundry room 🧺✨

We just wrapped up this laundry room remodel in Westminster, CO, and the transformation is night and day. What started as a completely unfinished, dark “dungeon” space is now a fully finished laundry kitchenette—bright, clean, functional, and actually enjoyable to be in.

This is a great example of how much potential unfinished spaces really have with the right plan and craftsmanship. Check out the before and after photos to see the full transformation.

Chimneys and vents need to be cleaned and inspected by a qualified professional at least once a year.

Allow ashes to cool before disposing of them. Place ashes in a tightly covered metal container and keep the ash container at least 10 feet away from the home and any other nearby buildings. Never empty the ash directly into a trash can. Douse and saturate the ashes with water.

Always use a metal or heat-tempered glass screen on a fireplace and keep it in place. Gas fireplace doors can reach excessive temperatures of 1300 degrees Fahrenheit (705 degrees Celsius). Serious burn injuries from hot glass can happen in less than one second. Install a screen barrier.
