Be careful out there. This cottonmouth was by a two year olds tent yesterday. The lack of rain is drying up most small water holes and marshes and that will make them start to seek other wet areas . Just keep a look out if you are around that type of area please.

Teach your kids what a Coral snake looks like. They are becoming more common due to new construction. They inhabit oak scrub and pine flatwood forests. You will typically find them in rotted logs hunting blue skinks.
