From showing market hogs and cattle since the 6th grade to becoming a State Creed Speaking Champion, Clayton has never stopped striving for excellence. His passion for service shines through his State Proficiency Award-winning project, Casting Cures for Lures, which has raised over $40,000 for pediatric cancer research and support.

Clayton, your leadership, heart for service, and unwavering commitment to agriculture continue to inspire our chapter and community. We are incredibly proud of you and will be cheering you on every step of the way at the Florida FFA State Convention this June!

We are one week from the 7th annual
“Casting Lures for Cures” 04/12/2025 tournament with all proceeds going directly to the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation. Will be fishing the Kissimmee chain out of Camp Mack Lodge, Marina & RV Resort with the one and only Charlie Wynperle as tournament director so if it looks like a bass and quacks like a bass bring it in. 5 fish limit with guaranteed payouts. Lunch will be provided for anglers. Early registration through eventbrite or reach out to us , also can register the morning of starting at 5:30 am boat order will be in order of registration. It’s going to be a great day for fishing.
We will also have live entertainment by Cory Greenway from11am-1pm on the Camp Mack river front stage, after weigh in there will be some amazing raffles raffled off , 50/50, fun for all. Come out for a great cause to help build awareness for pediatric cancer .

Don’t forget to join us April 12 for the 7th Annual Casting Lures for Cures. You can pre-register using the Eventbrite code below or you can also sign up the morning of. All proceeds go to the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation. We will have lunch for all Anglers as well as raffle items for all.

Come on out 05/06/2023 to the 5th annual Casting Lures For Cures tournament with all the proceeds going to benefit the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation. It will be held at the Camp Mack, a Guy Harvey Lodge, Marina & RV Resort . Anglers will launch at safe light and weigh in starts at 2pm . Will be guaranteed payouts of $1000 for 1st , $500 for 2nd , $250 for 3rd , and big bass 100% payback . Cost to fish will be $80 per boat of 2 or solo anglers with $20 per entry going back to the big bass pot . There will also be raffles , 50/50 , entertainment , venders , & food thru out the day leading up until weigh in . Cory Greenway will preform on the River Front stage from 11 am - 1 pm . Fun day for everyone benefiting a great cause . Hope to see y’all there . Clayton Keene Jr. is the host of this tournament if started his 6th grade year as a humanities project and he has continued to grow and make more successful each year to raise awareness of pediatric cancer and will continue to host for years to come . Thank you all who help and show up each year .

Bombing range had a couple special hog hunts in Jan & Feb . We were able to take the youngens and catch a few nuisance hogs .

Had a couple of nuisance raccoons disturbing a residence back porch where their cats live set a trap these two will not be bothering anybody else around going to relocate them so they can be in the wild
