🔨 Another Lakefront Transformation Complete! 🌊🏡

Another beautiful Lake of the Ozarks home is one step closer to becoming exactly what our clients envisioned.

Over the past 7 days, our My Handyman LOZ team completed:

✅ Removed damaged and compromised cedar siding
✅ Installed new cedar siding and trim
✅ Installed new house wrap and weather barrier where needed
✅ Repaired damaged exterior wood components
✅ Completed extensive prep work including filling, sanding and caulking
✅ Applied two full coats of premium exterior paint using a beautiful two-color finish that completely transformed this lakefront property.

Next week we’ll be returning to install 6 brand-new windows and 2 sliding glass doors on the lake side of the home to complete the next phase of this renovation.

This beautiful home in Lynn Creek is getting a new look. The cedar siding had to be 30 years old! Great clients and we are thankful we could help with this project. The Robinson property is another valued repeat customer, and we’re truly thankful to have remained their first choice. Building long-term relationships with our clients is something we never take for granted.

Over the course of our 2026 Summer Service Contract, we completed a wide range of improvements, including:

• Replaced over 300 linear feet of dock boards
• Removed the old wood ramp and built a brand-new one
• Built a custom staircase
• Power washed the entire property
• Constructed a 100-foot handrail leading to the beach
• Stained the deck, stairs, handrails, ramp, and two smaller decks
• Cleaned the dock roof
• Installed a new ice maker
• Removed and replaced drywall in the lower-level bathroom
• Repainted the entire bedroom
• Tuck-pointed a large retaining wall and stone veneer wall that had been compromised by water intrusion and winter ice movement

Most importantly, we’ve corrected the water flow that was allowing ice to push against the retaining wall each winter, helping protect the structure from future damage.

Today officially marks the completion of this year’s summer service contract, and we’re already moving on to our next major transformation.

Our next project includes:
• Caulking a 50-year-old cedar-sided home in preparation for a complete exterior makeover
• Replacing two sliding patio doors and two windows
• Completing the replacement of over 400 linear feet of cedar siding
• Removing and rewrapping the chimney with new cedar next week

Then watch the magic happen as we completely transform this home with a beautiful two-color exterior paint job in just five days.

We are setting up to do a complete exterior painting on this beautiful home in Lynn Creek. We had to replace some 40 year old cedar siding as colony of squirrels decided that they like the way the cedar siding tasted. We finished all the wood repair already. We will be power washing, caulking the exterior and prepping for painting the exterior 2 colors. We are also going to fixing the chimney as discovered that there was additional damage by the squirrels. All squirrels we relocated to prevent additional damage. We will also be changing 2 custom windows and 2 custom sliders on the back on the house. Great project for our team and we are happy to have this client on our schedule.
