Sticky kitchen cabinets? Here’s why.

After cooking, most of us wipe down the counters and stove… but the cabinets are easy to forget.

Over time, grease can build up, trap dust, hold onto odors, and make your kitchen feel less fresh even after cleaning.

Quick tip: once a week, wipe your cabinets with warm water, a few drops of dish soap, and a microfiber cloth, especially near the stove. Then dry with a clean microfiber cloth.

Small habit. Big difference.

Dust keeps coming back?🙄
It might not be your furniture.🙄🤔🤨

A lot of dust comes from spots people forget to clean, like vents, ceiling fans, blinds, and air filters.🫡🫡🫡

Quick tip: clean from top to bottom so dust does not fall back onto areas you already cleaned.

Small habit. Big difference.👌

Lake Mills homeowners, this one is worth saving. 🐭

Mice usually come inside looking for food, warmth, and places to hide — especially during Wisconsin’s colder seasons.

Simple things like sealing small gaps, keeping pantry food in airtight containers, cleaning crumbs quickly, taking out trash, and reducing clutter can help protect your home.

And if you keep hearing noises in the walls or seeing signs often, it may be time to call pest control before the problem gets worse.

After that, a deep clean can help your home feel fresh, comfortable, and stress-free again.

Sara’s DCC Cleaning Services proudly serves Lake Mills and nearby Wisconsin communities with trusted residential cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, and home cleaning support.

HISTORY TIME ...🥺

😞Today I cleaned a refrigerator, but it felt like I was seeing so much more than that.

My client started telling me how tired she’s been.
Tired from working.
Tired from being on the go all day.
Tired from getting home and still having a million things to take care of.
Tired of opening the fridge and finding spilled juice, half-closed bottles, messes, sticky shelves… like it just never ends.

She has 3 kids.
And she told me something that really hit me:
“I hate always having to get after them about it, but sometimes I’m just so tired.”

And I think a lot of moms will understand that without anyone having to explain it.

Because sometimes you’re not crying over the fridge.
You’re crying over everything you’ve been carrying for days, weeks, maybe even months.

You’re doing the best you can, and still it feels like the house is falling behind.
You want to be patient, but you’re exhausted.
You want to enjoy your kids, not feel like you’re constantly cleaning up after everyone and repeating yourself all day.

And yes…
sometimes something as simple as a messy fridge is the very thing that pushes you over the edge that day.

So when I finished cleaning it and left it fresh, organized, and peaceful, I felt like I hadn’t just cleaned a refrigerator.

I felt like, for a moment, I had taken a little weight off her shoulders.

And when she saw it all clean and put back together, she just stood there looking at it for a second.
Like someone finally got to breathe after holding too much in for too long.

And honestly…
that got to me too.

Because for a moment, I didn’t see the stress on her face anymore.
I saw relief.
I saw her exhale.
I saw that feeling of, “finally… something helped me too.”

And that’s when I felt it in my heart.

Because sometimes what we do is not just cleaning.
Sometimes it’s giving a tired mom a little bit of peace back.

Y no te voy a mentir…
