Making an Impact in Our Community! ❤️
Each quarter, R&L Spring Company and Medicoil select a local nonprofit to support through employee events and fundraising. For Quarter 3, we chose United Way of Walworth County to help support the many nonprofits and community needs throughout our area, especially following the devastating storms over Fourth of July weekend.
Throughout the quarter, our employees participated in ice cream socials, a crockpot cook-off, and our biggest fundraiser, a silent auction!
A HUGE thank you to the many local businesses who donated items and helped make our silent auction a success, including Lake Geneva Safari, Lake Geneva Lanes, Evergreen Golf Club, A1 Mobile Detailing, Next Door Pub, Oakfire, The Cheesebox, The Candle Mercantile, Elizabeth's Cafe, Dancing Horses, Clearwater, Tommis Garden Blooms, Maxwell Mansion, Lake Geneva Country Meats, The Bottle Shop, and many more!
Today, we had the opportunity to meet with Brian Holt, CEO of United Way of Walworth County, to learn more about their local initiatives, including housing needs, hear how our contribution will make an impact, and officially present our donation.
We are incredibly proud to share that, including our company match, this was the most our team has ever raised in a single quarter!
Thank you to our employees, local business partners, and everyone who contributed. Together, we are making a difference in the community we call home!
