💧 What’s a Seepage Pit?
A seepage pit (also known as a dry well or leach pit) is a deep underground chamber that allows treated wastewater from your septic system to slowly soak into the surrounding soil. It’s a key part of keeping your system running smoothly—especially when there’s limited space for a traditional drainfield.

🛡️Why Use a Liner?
Seepage pit liners are used to reinforce the pit walls, prevent soil collapse, and improve long-term performance. They also help protect groundwater by controlling how and where the water seeps out. A properly lined pit lasts longer and works more efficiently!

“Are the lids exposed?” Is a question we ask during a call for request for service to determine whether digging will be necessary. Some homeowners choose to dig to exposed the lids of the septic tank or they have risers at surface level or just below.

Customer’s often then ask “well do I need to take the lids off?”
The answer is “No, you do not need to take the lids off. Our tech will do that for you. We just ask that there is no excess dirt and debris covering the lids”

Pictured here is riser lid that is exposed in the homeowners grass. Our technicians carry the drills to remove the bolts for you!
