Greetings... Just a reminder that the club barbecue will be at the boat landing this Saturday from 11:00 to 2:30. Hope you can make it! If you have not yet paid your renewal, you can do it at that time and if you have a damaged window hanger, you can get a new one.

Special thanks to Mike McCray and his son who are lake club members. They finished the repairs on the boat ramp, including digging out the landing, stabilizing the boat ramp and filling in and packing the ruts that had formed. All of this and ahead of schedule. Have a safe fishing weekend!

Greetings... The recent rains caused some damage at the boat ramp. This included some washout ruts at the top of the boat ramp and also some dirt from the adjoining property washing into the boat channel. Repairs to the ramp will be accomplished between October 26th and November 3rd. Please be aware if you intend to use the ramp during this time there may be some delays getting in and out of the water. Sorry for the inconvenience, but these repairs will make your boating and fishing experience more enjoyable and safer overall. .

Good morning. just a reminder that today's barbecue and lake event have been canceled due to Coved. we are doing this out of an abundance of caution and to comply with both the governor and the president's request for no group's larger than 10. Trust that you and your family are all safe during this time.

I do want to say a very special thank you to David day who is handling the IT portion of our membership. David has been communicating with you to remind you that we are not going to be at the lake today and also to further instructions on how you can pay online with either PayPal or a credit card.

If neither of those options work for you, you can still mail a check to LJSA at 3759 Peacock drive Melbourne Florida 32904.

Currently I'm caring for my mom and mother-in-law who are both on hospice. Checks and mail that come in to LJSA I simply put in a plastic container and will open them all at the same time on the end of next week. (Taking all due diligence and care) If you have already mailed a check and have not seen it cashed that is why. It is our plan to mail the mirror hangers the first week of April in bulk.

Your current code and pass will work through the middle of April. The new code will be in the envelope with your mirror hanger. However we will not actually change the gate code until the middle of April.

While no plans have been made and no date has been set it would be our hope to have the barbecue sometime in the fall after the summer heat dissipates. Please watch for email from Lake Jeffery sportsman's association to confirm these dates.

GREETINGS SPORTSMEN and WOMEN. Our March membership drive is well underway. Many or you have already responded. Check your Email for instructions if you have not already. We are offering both a one and two year option. If you pay online, go to the website at LakeJeffery.com and choose either one or two years.

We will be handing out mirror Hangers at the Club BBQ on Friday the 20th. I will be at the lake by Noon on Friday to distribute Mirror hangers and will be there till 7PM. Since we are going to be outside, and this is a come and go event, the BBQ IS STILL ON, from 4-6ish, (or until food is gone.) I will also be at the lake on Saturday morning from 8AM till Noon.

If you are unable to pick up your pass, we will mail it the following week. The current code and pass will still work until April 9th.

One of the most important hazards to watch out for is the overgrowth of weeds in the water or your lake or pond. There are several potentially hazardous species that you need to be on the lookout for.

The 2019-2020 membership drive will be concluding in the next few days. If you have not yet renewed your membership you can do so online at LakeJeffery.com. You can use PayPal or click on "more" and use your credit card. You will be able to pick up your Mirror hanger on Friday (29th) at the BBQ at the lake (4-6:30PM). If you are unable to be there on Friday, we will be mailing the new passes on April the 2nd. Look forward to seeing you

Want to pick up your Mirror Hanger in person? I will be at the ramp on Friday March 23rd, from 2-6PM. First 100 will have Barbeque from "BOBS BUTTS." I will also be there on Sat from 8 till noon. If you are unable to meet us there at those times, we will be mailing the 2018, 2019 mirror hangers on Monday (Mar 26). Drop by if you can, look forward to seeing you.
