Most people think pool service is about adding chemicals and skimming leaves.
The reality is that great water quality is much more complicated than that.
This pool had a brand new liner, balanced chemistry, and regular professional service. Yet the water wasn’t achieving the level of clarity we expect for our customers.
Our technician Ed identified the real issue. The older sand filter was undersized for the pool and limiting the filtration needed to achieve exceptional water quality. Continuing to rely on sanitizer alone would have required higher chlorine levels than we wanted to see in a pool with a brand new liner.
That’s because pool care isn’t just chemistry.
It’s chemistry.
It’s filtration.
It’s circulation.
And increasingly, it’s knowing when to add a little razzle dazzle like minerals and enzymes to help reduce chlorine demand while maintaining clean, sanitary water.
After upgrading the filtration system, the difference was immediate.
