PPF Tip of the Day 👇

This is what a hood looks like immediately after the Paint Protection Film has been installed—but before it’s been trimmed and heat sealed.

At this stage, the excess film is intentionally left in place while we ensure proper alignment and prepare the edges for a precise finish.

On this 2005 Toyota Solara, we removed the windshield washer nozzles and the factory chrome hood trim so the film can be wrapped underneath them. Because this is a full hood installation, the hood will have 100% paint coverage—there won’t be an exposed edge across the front or around those removed components.

Taking the time to remove parts when appropriate allows for:
• Complete hood coverage
• Cleaner, nearly invisible edges
• Better long-term durability
• A more OEM-style finished appearance

These extra steps take more time, but they’re part of delivering the highest-quality PPF installation possible.

✨Headlight Restoration ✨

A lot of people replace faded OEM headlights with inexpensive aftermarket housings—but a quality restoration is often the better option.
