We detailed this Vietnam Vet’s truck a few weeks back and he was over the moon happy!!

This is going to be a long post, but, it’s totally worth the read.

This past Thursday we took our dog Puller to Sam and his crew over at Alpha Chic Grooming LLC.

Puller is going through some medical stuff right now and this Tuesday he is having a pretty major procedure done, so we wanted him to feel and look his absolute best.

While there are many amazing dog groomers in the area, Sam is the only one that we fully trusted to handle Puller.

Puller didn’t have the greatest life before we rescued him 6 years ago. He is very weary of people in general outside of our family and I am the only man that he fully trusts. (Outside of our son.)

So I was extremely worried about how Puller was going to react. I was stressing the entire ride from Youngsville to Scott. I didn’t want Puller to be scared or anxious and we certainly didn’t want there to be an incident.

Prior to our appointment I had talked to Sam about Puller so that he was prepared.

After about a 40 minute ride, we arrived and I gave myself and Puller a little pep talk and then we want inside.

From the moment we walked in, Sam was amazing. Literally amazing. He was soft and gentle with Puller and he didn’t rush anything. He gave Puller the time to get adjusted and to become aware of his surroundings.

There were other dogs there as well and they were all gentle with Puller as well.

Both Sam and the other dogs made Puller feel very safe.

After about 10 minutes Sam took Puller and I went outside to my truck and stressed because even though Sam and his crew were amazing, the actual grooming hadn’t started yet.

After about 15 mins I went back inside to check on everything and Sam had told me everything was great and that Puller was being a great boy!!

Puller even let Sam pick him up and put him into the tub.

I was blown away. Literally.

I went back to my truck and waited about 45 mins and went back in and they were giving Puller the finishing touches.

Not only was Puller looking and smelling great but he was HAPPY!!! He was so happy!!

Sam and his crew earned not only my full trust but more importantly, he earned Puller’s trust.

To wrap this story up, Sam and his entire crew are absolutely phenomenal at what they do and in every aspect.

If you’re looking for a dog groomer, then look no further and reach out to Sam!!

We will never go to another groomer!

I’m in my kitchen getting all of our chemicals ready for next week and I’m listening to The Blessing feeling happy and super grateful and blessed.

It’s crazy because if you would have told me I would be listening to religious music 10 years ago I would have laughed right in your face. Granted it’s the only religious song I listen to, but you get the point.

I get to do all of this in our beautiful new home with my family and all of our animals and there’s nothing better.

BTW; here’s my beautiful Gabriel. He’s a really bad boy… a little short of an actual terrorist but he’s mine. I’m his person.

It has taken a few weeks longer than I had wanted to announce this, but, as of today, Acadiana Paint Corrections is now Acadiana Paint Corrections and Coatings.

All of the proper changes and paperwork have been filed with the state and we have worked with our logo designer to update the logo along with making some small changes to it.

I am currently working on updating all our social media platforms along with our Google Business Profile, Apple Maps Business Profile, Bing, Yelp, the list goes on. It’s a long tedious process but I hope to have it all done this week.

There are several reasons why we decided to make this change, but, the main reason is that this is the direction that we have been going with the business for well over a year now… offering regular detailing services with a heavy emphasis on paint corrections and ceramic coatings.

I love detailing. I love being able to help clients keep their investments clean and always looking good.

Sladen and I have developed our own process that works fantastic for us. We make little changes and tweaks here and there to improve the process not only for our benefit, but, for the benefit of our clients as well.

But, what I really love is doing paint corrections.

I love having a client bring us a vehicle that they love in order for me to work my magic on it.

It’s like being presented an amazing and beautiful painting but it’s been destroyed by an angry toddler and now it’s up to me to restore it.

I love the extremely stressful environment of trying to figure out what’s going to work to bring a vehicles paint back to being beautiful.

It’s like you’re your screaming and cursing during the initial process and then all of a sudden you have realized that you have finally found the perfect pad and compound combination that’s going to return this paint back to its former glory.

With that said, we will always offer regular detailing services to our current clients and to our future clients.
This will never change.

The ultimate long term goal is to have Sladen completely take over the detailing aspect of the business so that I can strictly focus on the correction and coating side of the business.

We will always provide our clients with the absolute best quality work humanly possible and our clients will always receive the absolute best, individually personalized and dedicated customer service.
