✨ ONE YEAR OF SAFE HAVEN CLEANING ✨
One year ago, my life didn’t necessarily look like the beginning of something beautiful.
If I’m being completely transparent, my circumstances didn’t look like what I thought they should look like for me to be building a bright future. There were uncertainties. There were hard days. There were things I was praying for that I couldn’t see the answer to yet.
And somewhere in the middle of all of that… I started cleaning houses.
I didn’t have some huge business plan. I couldn’t see a year ahead and know what Safe Haven Cleaning would become. I just took the next step that was in front of me and trusted God with the rest.
And now, a whole year later, I can look back and see His fingerprints ALL over it. 🥹
The doors He opened. The people He sent me. The relationships that were built. The provision that came at exactly the right time. The lessons I needed to learn. Even the things that didn’t work out the way I wanted them to.
What I thought was simply a way to provide became something that gave me purpose in a season when I desperately needed to remember that God was still writing my story.
And maybe that’s the biggest thing this first year has taught me:
Your current circumstances do not get the final say over your future.
Sometimes the beginning of your answered prayer doesn’t look anything like an answered prayer.
Sometimes it looks like starting small.
Sometimes it looks like doing work you never imagined yourself doing.
Sometimes it looks like uncertainty, obedience, long days, closed doors, and continuing to show up when you have absolutely no idea how God is going to put all the pieces together.
But He does. 🤍
Safe Haven has become so much more than cleaning houses to me. It has become a reminder that God can take what’s already in your hands, meet you exactly where you are, and build something beautiful from it.
Today, I get to serve families I genuinely love. I get to provide jobs for other people. I get to walk into homes and make someone’s load a little lighter. And I get to build something that carries a message I believe with my whole heart:
“We steward the house, so you can steward the home.”
So yes, today I’m celebrating ONE YEAR of Safe Haven Cleaning. 🥹🎉
But I’m also celebrating the God who knew what this year would hold before I ever cleaned the first house.
And if you’re reading this from a season that doesn’t look anything like the future you’ve been praying for, please don’t count yourself out.
You may be standing in the very place God is going to use to begin it.
Keep praying. Keep showing up. Keep taking the next step.
A lot can change in a year. 🤍
Happy 1st birthday, Safe Haven Cleaning.
Here’s to year two, and to continuing to trust the One who wrote the story before I ever knew how it would unfold. ✨
