Buried cleanout in yard. Found. It’s why I get paid the little bucks….but it is why you get a sewer scope done. This is a $1,500 value to the property.

Broken joint in a brand new home in Southern Indiana. I have performed a sewer scope on three brand new homes this week. Problems with each one. A broken pipe, another was totally stopped up with construction materials and debris. And lastly a long belly(sag in pipe holding water). If you are buying a new home or you are a real estate agent representing buyers of a new home, I would strongly encourage a Sewer Scope to be done.

Thought these were tree roots. But these are actually grass roots growing into a PVC line. Probably a break or crack in the top of the pipe. Needs to be dug up and repaired or a spot repair with CIPP. A reminder again, just because you have a PVC line does not guarantee that everything is picture perfect. That is why a Sewer Scope is necessary. The camera doesn’t lie. Stay ahead of the game.

Another cleanout found. Tip of the day. Make sure you do not bury your cleanout. Keep mulch and dirt away from the cap.

Another cleanout found under 6 inches of mulch and underneath plastic. Do you know where your cleanout is located? Part of my service is locating and identifying cleanouts.
