• Built with around 3,000 steel parts (yes—even the walls can be wiped down!)
• Known for cool features like radiant ceiling heat, built-ins, and pocket doors
• Created after WWII by Carl Strandlund to help with the housing shortage
• Only about 2,500 were ever made—making them super rare today!

Even cooler? The Lustron home right here in Peru, Indiana is part of the official surviving inventory of these unique, historic homes 💙
