🚨 Important Business Update from The Detail Doc LLC. 🚨
📍 We apologize for not posting much anymore, we currently have decided to move our business to a part time side gig as we focus on full time employment & life changing events happening in our personal lives. There maybe a time in the future where we decide to go back full time and focus on more services.
Over the past year, we’ve had the pleasure of transforming countless vehicles inside and out. From deep interior cleans to full exterior restorations, we’ve loved every project and truly thank every customer who has trusted us with their vehicle.
That being said, after much thought and consideration, we’ve decided to refocus our business model. Moving forward, The Detail Doc will primarily specialize in:
✨ Exterior polishing & paint corrections.
✨ Professional ceramic coatings.
✨ Fleet washings, Camper / trailer washings, semi washings ETC.
We’ll continue working with our business accounts and tailoring services to their specific needs, but interior details have officially ended.
Why the change?
✔️ Over the last year, we’ve experienced a high number of last-minute cancellations, which is difficult to recover from as a service-based business. Unlike a coffee shop with walk-in traffic, each cancelled appointment means an entire day of lost work - we only see these kinds of cancellations with lower-end services.
✔️ The detailing industry in Iowa & Nebraska is highly saturated, making it harder to maintain consistent week-to-week bookings.
✔️ We want to focus on the high-value, long-lasting services we’re passionate about: Paint corrections, ceramic coatings & fleet / camper washings.
What’s changing:
✅ pricing will be increasing across the board. For the past year we’ve kept our prices at some of the lowest in town, but with rising product and supply costs, adjustments are necessary to keep delivering quality results.
We appreciate your understanding as we grow and evolve. These changes allow us to provide more specialized, higher-quality services while ensuring our business can thrive.
