Attending the Adair County Family YMCA fundraiser tonight! Dueling pianos was a success and I was lucky enough to win the 50/50 drawing! Giving the winnings back to the Y felt good, knowing they gave out 19,000 meals to kids during the month of June! The YMCA is more than just a gym! They help many kids and families locally with food and activities! At least I got to hold that $440 dollars for a few seconds!🤣

Varied carpet beetles harm humans mostly by eating natural fibers of clothes furniture and lines but they do cause a skin rash even though they do not bite humans. This just proves once again that you can usually not determine the insect by the way the bite appears on the skin, as everyone reacts differently… This picture is a carpet beetle on some curtains of a customwrs home, their Dr told them it was bed bugs based off the bites on his skin. His home was bed bug free but had carpet beetles through every room! If you are having bites and don’t know what is causing them call us 660-956-5775!

The plague is still active around the world! Although rare, keeping our homes and businesses pest free from things like rats, mice, and fleas helps stop diseases like this from spreading!

One person is dead, according to officials with Northern Arizona Healthcare, on the same day they showed up at Flagstaff Medical Center with symptoms of the plague.
