UPDATED CLEANING SERVICE AGREEMENT
Cleaning Services Agreement
This Terms and Services Agreement (“Agreement”) governs the provision of cleaning services by The Clean Culture Co. (“Service Provider”). By engaging our services, the Client (“Customer”) agrees to the following terms and conditions.
1. Services Provided
The Clean Culture Co. provides residential cleaning services including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and bathroom and kitchen cleaning. Additional services and custom cleaning packages may be available for an additional fee.
• Initial Cleaning Requirement
All first time services are billed as an initial one time cleaning. Depending on the condition of the home, this may be charged as either an initial general cleaning or a deep cleaning. If a deep cleaning is required, it must be completed before recurring services can begin. After the initial or deep cleaning is completed, recurring visits will be billed at the discounted rate based on the selected service frequency.
• Condition of Home
If the condition of the home is significantly dirtier than described at the time of booking, the service may be adjusted to a deep cleaning rate or additional charges may apply.
• Recurring Cleaning Services and Discounted Rates
Discounted recurring rates apply to visits scheduled after the initial general or deep cleaning. Recurring service options include weekly, biweekly, or monthly cleanings, with pricing discounted based on the selected frequency. Recurring services must be scheduled in advance to qualify for discounted rates.
• General Cleaning Scope
Standard cleaning services do not include washing dishes, changing linens or making beds, laundry, decluttering, organizing, or picking up personal belongings unless agreed to in advance as part of a custom cleaning service.
• Types of Cleaning Services
The Clean Culture Co. provides residential cleaning services including general cleaning, deep cleaning, move in cleaning, move out cleaning, and vacant property cleaning.
For vacant homes, move out cleanings, or properties being prepared for sale or occupancy, all personal belongings, trash, and debris must be removed prior to the scheduled service. If items or trash remain in the home, additional fees may be charged for trash removal or affected areas may be skipped.
• Service Pricing Scope
Pricing applies to homes up to 2,500 square feet. Homes exceeding this size may require a custom quote and may be subject to additional charges.
• Room Count Clarification
Lofts, playrooms, bonus rooms, movie rooms, dens, and offices are included in the total room count for pricing and scheduling purposes.
2. Operational Hours
Services are provided Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Requests outside these hours must be scheduled in advance and may incur additional fees.
3. Customer Responsibilities
To ensure efficient and high quality service, Customers agree to:
• Pick up personal belongings, toys, clothing, and clutter prior to arrival
• Clear countertops and surfaces for cleaning
• Secure fragile or valuable items
• Ensure pets and children are kept out of active work areas
Cleaning services focus on general cleaning only. Decluttering, organizing, and picking up personal belongings are not included unless agreed to in advance.
If excessive clutter interferes with service, affected areas may be skipped or a Decluttering Fee of $50 per occurrence may apply.
Additional fees may be charged for services requiring extra time or labor including but not limited to excessive clutter, trash removal, access issues, or conditions that significantly increase the scope of work.
The Clean Culture Co. does not handle biohazard materials. This includes but is not limited to human waste, animal waste, bodily fluids, or other hazardous materials. If such conditions are present, services may be declined or halted until the area has been properly remediated.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that basic utilities including electricity and running water are active and available at the time of the scheduled service. If utilities are unavailable and service cannot be completed, an additional fee may be charged to cover lost time, travel, or rescheduling.
If utilities are shut off and the condition prevents the completion of services, The Clean Culture Co. reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service. If work has already begun prior to discovering the issue, payment will still be due for any services performed.
Customers must ensure access to the property at the scheduled appointment time. If our team is unable to access the property due to a lockout, incorrect entry information, or lack of access, a Lockout or No Entry Fee may be charged.
4. No Smoking Policy
Smoking is prohibited in all areas where services are being performed.
5. Furniture and Equipment Limitations
For safety reasons, heavy furniture will not be moved and large ladders are not used. Areas requiring special access must be disclosed in advance.
6. Payment Terms
• Accepted payment methods include Cash App, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay, cash, or check
• Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed to in writing
Recurring service pricing is based on maintaining a consistent cleaning schedule. Discounted recurring rates apply to weekly, biweekly, or monthly services because regular visits reduce the time and labor required to maintain the home.
If the time between cleanings exceeds the following service intervals:
• Weekly clients exceeding two weeks between cleanings
• Biweekly clients exceeding three weeks between cleanings
• Monthly clients exceeding five weeks between cleanings
the next appointment will be billed at the current one time cleaning rate rather than the discounted recurring rate due to the additional work required to restore the home to maintenance condition. Once the regular schedule resumes, the recurring rate may be reinstated.
Additional fees may apply if excessive cleaning supplies or specialized products are required due to unusually dirty conditions, heavy buildup, or other circumstances that significantly increase supply usage.
7. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations require at least 24 hours notice. Late cancellations may result in a fee equal to 50 percent of the scheduled service cost.
8. Liability
The Clean Culture Co. is not responsible for pre existing damage, unsecured items, or unsafe conditions at the property.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate services with 15 days written notice. All outstanding balances are due immediately.
10. Amendments
Terms may be updated at any time and will be communicated in writing.
11. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the state in which services are provided.
By engaging our services, the Customer acknowledges they have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions.
