Over the past several weeks, we've followed a batch of laundry through Milnor's patented PulseFlow® technology, exploring the engineering innovations that make our CBW® tunnel washers different.

From RecircONE® technology that puts the first module to work immediately, to True Top Transfer for superior rinsing, standing bath technology that gives chemistry time to perform, and dual-use modules that maximize efficiency, every feature is designed with one goal in mind: delivering cleaner goods while reducing water, energy, and overall operating costs.

These innovative engineering solutions work together to create a more efficient and sustainable continuous batch washing system.

Now, see it all come together. Watch our complete video for an in-depth look at how PulseFlow® technology has redefined tunnel washer performance since 2009 and continues to set the standard for the industry.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

In this week’s segment, we’re reviewing how PulseFlow® technology uses dual-use modules to make every stage of the wash process work harder.

PulseFlow Technology pauses counterflow during the first 65–75% of each transfer cycle, allowing the wash chemistry to work at full strength without constant dilution. Then, during the final portion of the cycle, the system delivers the entire counterflow volume at a high flow rate, providing a thorough rinse to carry suspended soil away from the goods in the module.

This approach creates dual-use modules that can efficiently support both washing and rinsing, giving operators greater process flexibility while shortening wash times and improving rinsing performance.

This week, we are reviewing how Milnor’s standing bath technology, a key feature of PulseFlow® technology, gives chemistry the time it needs to work effectively.

Rather than constantly diluting the wash liquor with counterflow, the system creates standing baths throughout most of the wash cycle. This allows chemistry to quickly reach its intended concentration and equilibrium to maximize its cleaning power.

Controlled intermittent high-velocity counterflow follows to quickly rinse the suspended soil.

This results in a smarter, sustainable wash process that relies on proven engineering, not excess water.

Check back next week as we discuss how dual-use modules make the wash process work harder!

This week, we’re taking a look at how PulseFlow® technology delivers cleaner water for better results.

Great rinsing isn't accomplished using more water, it's by keeping dirty water from following the load.

Milnor's patented True Top Transfer lifts each batch completely out of the bath, drains away the free water, and transfers the goods into the next module filled with cleaner water. Fixed, welded stainless steel partitions maintain complete bath separation, eliminating chemical leakage between modules and removing the need for wearable seals.

The result is better dilution, exceptional rinsing performance, and a tunnel that accomplishes more in fewer modules.

The wash starts sooner than you think!

Most tunnel washers use the first module for one thing: getting the goods wet. Milnor tunnels use the first module as a working module.

Our patented RecircONE® technology turns Module 1 into an active wash module from the very beginning. Water is recirculated at high velocity through the load scoop while chemistry is introduced immediately, allowing the wash process to start the moment the goods enter the tunnel.

Instead of spending the first module simply wetting down the goods and waiting for the wash to begin, the goods are already working through the process.

This reduces the number of modules needed and helps deliver a faster, more efficient wash.

Check back next week as we discuss how Milnor CBW® tunnels achieve better dilution and rinsing performance.

What sets Milnor CBW® tunnels apart in the industry? A series of engineering decisions that work together to deliver better washing, better rinsing, and lower operating costs.

Join us over the next few weeks as we follow a load of laundry through a Milnor PulseFlow® technology tunnel, exploring the patented features that have redefined continuous batch washing and why they continue to set the standard for washroom performance time after time.

Check back tomorrow for the first of five posts!

Please join us in celebrating the incredible people whose dedication and commitment help make our company what it is.

This month, we're proud to recognize these employee milestone anniversaries:
🎉 Gary Gauthier – 30 years
🎉 Michele Courville – 25 years
🎉 John Le – 25 years

Thank you for your commitment and the lasting impact you've made throughout your careers.

🎉 We're also celebrating the retirement of Doug Clement, Plant Receiving – Technician III, after an extraordinary 46 years of service.

“For nearly five decades, Doug was a familiar face on our front dock, where he took immense pride in ensuring our small machines were carefully pulled, loaded for shipment, and incoming freight was processed efficiently each day. His dedication and loyalty earned the respect of everyone who had the privilege of working alongside him. Doug's commitment to doing the job right has left a lasting legacy that will be remembered for years to come,” says David Michler, Inventory Cell Manager.

We wish Doug all the best in his well-earned retirement!
