After 18 years of dedicated service as a Workflow Coordinator, we are proud to celebrate the retirement of Dave Kennedy.

Dave has been an integral part of the Milnor team, known for his reliability, strong work ethic, and unwavering commitment to those around him. As Wendy Smith shared, “He is the kind of employee everyone wants: conscientious, dependable, the first to arrive and the last to leave. Dave was always willing to step in and fill the gaps without being asked. He genuinely cared for his coworkers and is deeply respected by all.”

Throughout his career, Dave played a critical role in coordinating the shipment of machines and essential spare parts across the globe. As Gary Lazarre noted, “Dave is an expert and will be missed.”

Dave’s contributions have left a lasting impact on our team and operations. We thank him for his years of service and wish him all the best in this next chapter.

High in the Eastern Sierra, at over 8,000 feet in Mammoth Lakes, CA, The Laundry Annex services the community no matter what Mother Nature brings.

This independent laundry, owned by Phil Charlton, supports businesses from Bishop Creek to Bridgeport and processes linen for more than 60 customers.

Their team of 35 employees (20+ full-time year-round) have more than a century of combined operational experience and process over 16,000 pounds of laundry a day. During the holidays that number can exceed 20,000 pounds.

And in Mammoth, reliability matters. Roads close for 100+ mph winds, blizzards, and wildfire, but The Laundry Annex team still shows up.

The laundry utilizes eleven Milnor washer-extractors, including nine 140 lb models and two 60 lb models, and recently retired a Milnor washer that had been running since 1997. Thanks to quick coordination with local dealer Western State Design, the team picked up and replaced a 42026V6Z within 24 hours (on Christmas Eve none-the-less!), keeping operations moving without missing a beat.

Last month, Milnor was honored to receive TRSA’s Total Engagement Award in Washington, DC during Laundry Hill Day. Rick Kelly, Executive Vice President and COO, accepted the award on behalf of Milnor.

This award recognizes supplier partners who demonstrate exemplary engagement with TRSA through participation in industry events, committees, certifications and association initiatives.
