It may be a cloudy, rainy day outside… but these beautiful flowers from Solomon’s Splendor Flower Farm are bringing a little sunshine into our home. 🌸🌿

We heard Flippin' Out was going to be in Kearney, so we had to stop by and see what all the hype was about.

It definitely lived up to it! We already can’t wait to go back!

While Kirby is busy taking care of business, I’m tackling the less glamorous side of life; getting new tires put on the car and cleaning the house. 🚗🧹

Life isn’t always exciting, and honestly, that’s okay.

There’s still joy to be found in the ordinary moments.

🦟 Have you heard of a mosquito bucket?

The idea is to attract mosquitoes to lay eggs in standing water and then prevent those larvae from developing into biting adults.

While mosquito buckets can be a helpful tool, they’re usually just one piece of the puzzle. Mosquitoes can travel from neighboring properties, breed in tiny amounts of water, and quickly repopulate an area.

Our best advice? Combine multiple prevention methods:
✅ Eliminate standing water
✅ Keep gutters clean
✅ Trim overgrown vegetation
✅ Use mosquito buckets properly
✅ Add professional mosquito treatments for the best protection

We spend a lot of time helping families enjoy their backyards without becoming a mosquito buffet. 😅
