Pet hair on the chair.
Crumbs by the bowls.
Door tracks holding onto every season.

We cleaned them, and the afters are way too satisfying.

Spice cabinets are where good intentions go to expire.

There is always one bottle in the back from 2017, one spice you bought for a recipe you made exactly once, and somehow three containers of garlic powder.

No judgment. It happens.

But every once in a while, it is worth opening that cabinet and asking, “Are we actually using these, or are they just living here now?”

Toss the expired ones, wipe the shelf, combine duplicates if it makes sense, and keep the ones you actually reach for.

Tiny kitchen victory. Big cabinet relief. 💜
