There are a few main differences between deep cleaning and regular cleaning.
Regular cleaning usually includes tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces, and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens. These are tasks that are typically done on a daily or weekly basis to maintain a certain level of cleanliness.
Deep cleaning, on the other hand, is a more thorough and comprehensive type of cleaning that goes beyond the basic cleaning tasks. It typically includes tasks such as cleaning inside the oven and refrigerator, deep cleaning carpets and upholstery, washing windows and window sills, and cleaning inside cabinets and drawers. Basically, deep cleaning is intended to get to the parts of your home or business that are typically overlooked during regular cleaning and can take several hours or more to complete.
Deep cleaning is often done on a seasonal or annual basis, or before a major event such as a move-in or move-out to ensure that your space is as clean as possible. In general, if you have not cleaned your home or business in a while, or if you notice that certain areas are getting more difficult to clean, or you simply want a more thorough, deep clean, then it might be time for a deep cleaning.
