Our technical director (and president of the Missouri Pest Management Association) John Myers (center right) recently joined industry leaders for a proclamation signing with governor at the capital - recognizing the important role pest management professionals play in protecting public health, homes, businesses and food across Missouri.

It’s a reminder that pest control is about much more than eliminating bugs/insects/rodents but also protecting public health, properties and quality of life for the Kansas City communities we serve every day.

Travel season is upon us and bed bugs are a concern that we often get questions about!

When you first arrive at your hotel room or Airbnb, make sure to leave your luggage in the bathroom or kitchen - away from areas where people sleep - while you do a quick inspection of the mattress, pillow cases, headboard.

When you return home, store your luggage in basement, garage or attic - not near beds - in case you did happen to bring home a stray bed bug or two. Named after our 2nd generation president (after Norman, company was led by 3rd generation - son Jay - and now led by his grandson Noah Besheer), and Norman’s legacy still shapes our commitment to learning and doing things the right way.

From bi-weekly trainings to quarterly team-wide meetings, we invest in our people so they can better serve yours.

This newly renovated space combined Norman’s original office + our old conference room - into a larger training room that can now accommodate all 30+ staff members (and growing!) at once.

For years, we’ve been renovating our longtime Waldo headquarters of 40+ years - highlighting/preserving its very cool character and vaulted ceilings with fresh paint and updates that fit our growing modern team.

When is a termite treatment actually necessary?

Selling your home comes with enough unknowns - we don’t want termite worries to be one of them!
As a 4th generation family owned company, we never recommend a treatment we wouldn’t suggest for our own family members! Not every home needs one - and we’ll always be honest about that.

But if we DO find live activity, new or in-tact tunnels with no evidence of prior treatment, we’re going to recommend protecting the home, because hidden damage isn’t worth the risk - and it’s our job as termite professionals with over 7 decades under our belt - to point out those risks.

Our lead inspector Dale has over 55 years of termite inspection experience, and our other two inspectors each have 20 years a piece. We have more experience on our team than any other company in the city, and we’re always happy to be a resource for you! Thanks for trusting us for all these years..
