Gunter Pest and Lawn is a 4th Generation family-owned and operated business since 1950. We are known as the "greenest" pest control company in Kansas City. We drive electric vehicles that are charged in our solar-powered garage. Since 1950, Gunter has eliminated millions of bugs, termites, and other undesirable creatures from the Greater Kansas City Area. In 2008, Gunter added Lawn Care to their portfolio of services.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our incredible teammate + bed bug expert of 7 years! Chris makes us all laugh and his intelligence about a wide variety of subjects is incredible to witness! Chris is a Mizzou graduate, BIG movie buff and can remember the year most films hit theatres…he’s a veteran and a proud dog dad who loves to hit the parks. If only Betty and Reggie Gunter knew that over a dozen of their kids, grandkids and great grandkids would continue to steward the company they ran out of their brookside home in 1950… many of their descendants who’ve worked here at Gunter never even had the opportunity to meet them.

What once started out of their Brookside/Waldo garage and guest room 76 years ago with maybe 100 clients across KC and Lake Lotawana is now a multi million dollar 4th generation pest and lawn care company with 35 employees and thousands of local customers.
