We will not apologize for our pricing.
No small business should.
Our pricing allows us to make a profit.
Which allows us to pay our bills.
Which also allows us to stay in business.
Our pricing allows us to employ 9 people.
Which allows them to pay their bills and support there 9 families.
Our pricing allows us to pay for the countless hours we work after everyone else has gone home for the night. We are truly never “off the clock”.
Our pricing keeps a roof over our heads and food on the table. So our families might prosper.
Our pricing allows us to be able to donate to local charitable organizations like schools and youth sports.
Our pricing allows us to create a place for people to go when they need someone to talk to while getting a haircut, where we don’t have to rush you in and then out. You can sit and have a one on one, or talk to a group of people all at the same time.
We own a small business. One where a owner will cut your hair while the other owner pours you a drink. One where the whole shop knows your name and truly cares about you.
We are not Super Cuts or Sport Clips (with 1000+ locations) that will cut your hair in about 15 minutes. We are just a small local independent Barber shop who wants to bring back what barber shops use to be, because we respect the past and the craft.
We are not the “cheapest” but we are also not “the most expensive”.
Our pricing is what it is to allow this barber shop to keep going which allows us to keep trying to making a positive impact by showing the youth that something’s should take longer because cheap and fast are not always a good thing.
We will not apologize for our pricing.
No small business should.
Outlaw Barber Company
(I read this post years ago about another small business, and modified and rewrote it as we were getting ready to open our shop)
