Hello Kankakee!
My name is Jessica Jaime, this month begins a beautiful new journey with Encanto Coffee Shop here in West Kankakee. Moving from Chicago to Kankakee County has been a little challenging for us because, coming from Chicago and growing up in Guadalajara, Mexico as a child, I was used to having so many unique places to enjoy amazing coffee, sweet treats, and foods full of culture and flavor. That experience is something I truly missed, and it inspired me to bring a little of that Latin twist here to our community.
With Encanto, we want to create more than just a coffee shop. We want to build a warm and welcoming place where people can gather, connect, and experience the richness of our Latin culture through coffee, homemade foods, and delicious desserts.
Every cup of coffee, every dessert, and every meal will be prepared with love, tradition, and pride. Our hope is to share a little piece of our heritage while creating new memories with the Kankakee community.
Encanto Coffee Shop is coming soon! Our official opening date will be announced soon, and we can’t wait to invite everyone to visit Encanto, support local, and enjoy the flavors, culture, and heart we are bringing to West Kankakee. Thank you for supporting our dream and being part of this exciting new beginning.
