About Harmony Housekeeping

Hi I am Rhonda, owner of Harmony Housekeeping Services, LLC. I have been with my husband for 29 years and we have 4 children and 2 grandchildren. We have done foster care off and on for 20 years. We adopted our last child through the foster system. I have a strong Christian faith with morals and values. I serve all of God’s people regardless of your faith, race, gender or sexual orientation, as I believe we need to embrace one anothers individuality and differences and learn from one another. My goal is to provide you housekeeping services, to bring you peace and harmony, and to build up the community around me. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, church functions, traveling, being at the beach, playing Words With Friends, and going for walks.

HISTORY

In the early 90’s I ran JCC housekeeping to put my hubby through college and allow me to work my own schedule around my children's school days. Later, I was able to obtain my social science degree and became a social service coordinator for long term care and skilled nursing facilities. I loved the career path I was on. However, after 15 years it was time for a change and I went back to what I enjoyed the most, being my own boss! Cleaning allows me to focus on a task I enjoy and brings me great pleasure and peace of mind. I often tell people I have OCD “Obsessive Cleaning Disorder”. My family and friends do not complain about it, as I tend to walk in their homes and start cleaning. Those who know me love it. Others think I am strange. There's nothing like walking into a house that is clean and tidy.

ABOUT HARMONY HOUSEKEEPING

The name came from my youngest chosen child, Harmony. Our Housekeeping logo is one she assisted in designing. She turned a large H into a tree and made it look like a house. We added the flower to show the brightness of a clean home. I love the polish and shine look after a good cleaning. I am detail oriented and easy to work with. Whatever you need done I am usually willing to do it. I work great around animals and critters of all kinds and adore children. So whether you are home with the family or not I can work with you, around you, or with whatever your schedule needs. I service the Eugene/Springfield and surrounding areas. I do detailed room cleanings, general housekeeping, move outs, and specialty cleanings for businesses and rental properties. I bring my own cleaning supplies. I am willing to use your own if you have a special prefernce though. I even have some environmentally friendly cleaning products if preferred.

GIVING BACK

As a former foster parent who has adopted I know the challenges that families face and I want to show them my appreciation for taking on such a difficult and selfless task. I also have a great passion and love for the elderly population that I have worked with in the past. Therefore, I offer special discounts to foster/adoptive families and senior citizens. I support other women who own their own business and am willing to exchange services. For those invovled with the MOB (Mom Owned Business) Alliance I also offer a discount. Recently, I added an additional discount to Disabled Veterans as my way to say, thank you for your service and sacrafice and to honor the memory of those we have lost.
