Hey everyone, Kyle here from Jonestown Car Wash.
A few months ago, we installed feedback signs with QR codes in every bay so you could tell us what’s working and what’s not. The response has been awesome. We’ve read every comment, both good and bad, and we’ve been putting that feedback into action.
Here are a few things we’ve already improved:
1. Pay stations going offline & cards not working
We worked with Comcast to upgrade our internet. Since then, we haven’t had issues with pay kiosks going offline or not accepting cards. Knock on wood we got this fully resolved.
2. Chemical residue after the touchless wash
We adjusted our chemical setup, added a second high pressure rinse, and slowed down part of the cycle to make sure everything is fully rinsed. We also upgraded our tire and wheel cleaner, triple foam, and drying agent product so your car comes out cleaner and drier.
3. Inconsistent triple foam and brush performance. We made adjustments to improve both triple foam and foam brush performance. You should see better coverage and consistency across all bays.
4. Customer support
We brought on a team member focused on customer support. If you reach out, you’ll hear back from us within 24 hours or less.
We know we won’t be perfect. Equipment breaks, things happen. But we care a lot about your experience and we’re committed to getting better every day. We are also in the quoting process of making some potential equipment upgrades.
