I’ve been thinking a lot about what I’ll leave behind. And honestly? I hope my daughter doesn’t spend a single weekend sorting through my things wondering what she “should” keep.

I’d much rather she remember the dinners than inherit the dishes. 💛

Did you know that pantry size can help you decide how much is enough?
The Costco-sized boxes don't fit well if you have a reach-in pantry. Shop for how often you go to the store and your pantry size so you'll be a lot less overwhelmed and have a Peaceful pantry.

Always trying to get educational activities into our days.
My kiddos have been writing thank you notes since before they could write and would make handprint or footprint cards as art and creative time.
Then they would practice their writing by copying thank you notes.
Now they write their own as a teen and pr***en.
The skill my 11 year old is working on is addressing the envelope and putting return address and stamp in the right place. We used to work on that a lot more in school and now hardly do since so much is digital with email. It still is a skill and something that is taking longer to master since it is rare.
Growing up I was only allowed to play with the gift or use the gift after a thank you note was written. My kids have the same rule and are super fast at writing thank you notes so they can play with the toy, wear the clothes, or eat the candy.🤣
