We did an insulation removal and a mold remediation today. Your boards under your house that are exposed suck up moisture from the ground and air. Over time mold and fungi start to grow and spread while the insulation holds the moisture to the subfloors generating mold you cant see. We will be going back tomorrow to put down a moisture barrier. It's your house protect it today so you'll have tomorrow. Give me a call at 843-696-1510

Got a call for termites the other day. Showed up to termites eating threw the family's living room floor, bathroom, and siding around their garage. I went under the house and found a huge termite mound attached to a column. Where the column met the floor, termite tubes had attached themselves across the underside of the floor, eating everything in their path. DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOUR HOME this is totally avoidable by having a termite treatment done and getting your house bonded as well. Call me for an estimate at 843-696-1510.

Here is an example of a Crawlspace door replacement. Due to the overall poor condition of the door and the surrounding framing we found that the homeowner was experincing rodent and pest issues under his home. During this process we removed the exisiting door that was rusted and separating from the home, reframed and repaired the entire crawlspace opening and installed the new door. We also used coated wire to seal the A/C vents to prevent entry and because the A/C company didn't secure the shield to the home, we foamed and mortared around the unit securing it to the house. Well also be going back to repair and clean his encapsulation. Stop paying people to do bad work and Call Someone Who Cares at 843-696-1510

TOPIC = MOSQUITOES
They feed on your blood and leave itchy welts on your skin.
Under the right conditions, your yard is an ideal habitat for bloodthirsty mosquitoes because it provides a source of food and water. Female mosquitoes track humans and animals by detecting body heat, carbon dioxide and other naturally occurring substances released during exhalation. Chemicals in perspiration also attract mosquitoes. Their long antennae and odor-sensing organs can detect these chemicals within 150 feet of their location. Mosquitoes are also exceptional visual hunters. They compare potential targets against the background of the sky. Darker shades of clothing make you more visible and susceptible to mosquito bites. Standing water in birdbaths, flowerpots and shallow pools offer mosquitoes a perfect location to deposit their eggs.

HEALTH NOTE>>> These are not only a nuisance but they can spread diseases like the West Nile virus, Malaria, Zika virus and more in humans and heart-worms in your animals.

TOPIC = COCKROACHES
In the Tri-County, we see an increase in cockroaches due to its temperate and humid climate. When invading homes, cockroaches gather in basements, bathrooms, laundry rooms and under kitchen sinks.

HEALTH NOTE>>> One of their MAJOR impacts to homeowners is particles of f***l matter (yes I said f***l matter) brought in by the cockroach which MAY become a source of diseases, food poisoning and can aggravate symptoms for folks with asthma.
