Y’all need to check this out hahaha, Here at Matt’s Wash & Wax - Florida, we don’t just detail cars—we detail airplanes too. Aviation has always been a huge passion of ours, and we’re incredibly fortunate to have one of the largest aviation events right here in our backyard.
Having seen firsthand what goes into planning this event—the volunteers, the coordination, and the dedication—it’s truly something special. Last year, I attended with my eight-year-old son, and it left a lasting impact on our family. That experience inspired me to get more involved, and I’m grateful to now volunteer throughout the year at the museum.
I’m especially excited to be volunteering at this year’s event. Along the way, I’ve met amazing people and heard incredible stories from fellow aviation enthusiasts who share the same passion.
I hope to see you there—bring your family, experience something unforgettable, and come support the Red, White, and Blue 250th 🇺🇸

DID YOU KNOW: Matthew Martelle’s passion for cars began with his father’s 1966 Chevelle. Inspired at a young age, he turned that passion into action — opening Matt’s Wash & Wax at just 13 years old, working out of his parents’ garage in Vermont.
As the years went on, Matthew recognized that the extreme cost of living in Vermont was creating limitations — especially for his children’s future opportunities. When the opportunity arose to move to Florida, it wasn’t a difficult decision to make. He knew the change would allow his family more room to grow, more financial flexibility, and greater long-term opportunity for success.
Rather than leaving his roots behind, Matthew ensured the Vermont operation remained strong. He is extremely thankful for the dedicated team who continues to run the Vermont business with the same passion, integrity, and attention to detail it was built on. Their loyalty and hard work allow Matt’s Wash & Wax to thrive in multiple states.
