I want to give a shoutout to my son, Michael. He started with us late last year and has been outstanding for the company. He performs excellent work and is very professional with our customers. One of the things he enjoys is striking up conversations with them as he works.

We grappled with these windows yesterday and as you can see we won the match. Just wish we had before pics showing the amount of dirt and paint overspray on them.

Good morning to all of my awesome friends and clients! Yesterday I had a window cleaning accident with my extension ladder.

As I was cleaning the window (circled in the below picture) the ladder slid from under me. As I fell with it I wound up crashing through the deck. I am truly blessed to only sustain minor injuries to my shoulder and lower leg.
I post this to raise awareness when using ladders. Pay attention to surfaces that can become slick when wet and make sure the feet of the ladder are clear of debris. Mine had been caked with mud from the previous days job. Have someone footing the ladder to prevent it from slipping. These are the things I ignored and I paid the price.
You can also see in the picture that with the force from falling I actually bent the stand-off arm.
Also, this is another reason why you may see me use my water-fed pole to keep me on the ground for high windows.
