Just about four years ago, I gave my notice at a job and in an industry I had known my entire adult life. I had given a decade of my time to the Powersports World. I was burnt out and missing my kids childhood. When I was informed, even though the deal was for me to be Monday through Friday only, that I was going to be mandated to start working Saturdays I put my notice in immediately and went to the drawing board. I walked out of there terrified with nothing but an idea and a really big prayer it would all be okay. I needed a career that brought me joy, and gave me flexibility for my own family. I thought why don’t I do something that gives other individuals time back with their children and loved ones ? I never imagined Maine Made Cleaning would grow to what it is. I am so endlessly thankful for my clientele and everything it has brought my family over the last four years. To be nominated for the READERS CHOICE AWARD is something I never could’ve predicted. Whether I win or not, I already feel so accomplished and I am proud of myself to even be considered ! The fact that I made it through an entire round of voting without even being aware that I was in the running speaks a lot of volume on behalf of those quietly cheering me on. Well to my complete shock , I was just let known by a friend that Maine Made Cleaning was nominated in the cleaning/home maintenance section. Which is such a huge honor in itself, being just a one-man show and growing this business on nothing but a dream and grit - I never imagined I would get nominated for something like this. I would love and appreciate anyone who votes and shares the link below cheering me on. I’m under professional services category and then you have to Cleaning/Home Maintenance !  I was absolutely clueless to this, I potentially got an email, but maybe assumed it was a scam? I’m incomplete disbelief, and slightly speechless, which rarely happens. Apparently there was a first round of voting to get me to this stage that I wasn’t even aware of, so thank you to anyone who supported me. Based off my quick readings it looks like you can vote one time per day from now until August 31.!

SLOT FILLED -

I have a biweekly Thursday morning cleaning slot unexpectedly available due to the current client’s change of jobs! OR IF two pals want claim the slot to share and have a monthly clean at each home I can work that too! The first clean could start as soon as Thursday, July 24th! It’s an 8 AM clean and the house must be located in Turner or potentially a town over depending on its location! I need to assure the location will allow time for an adequate clean with my other houses on my schedule for those Thursdays ! Please reach out to me directly for pricing. Pricing varies on the size of the home and its condition. I supply all equipment and cleaning supplies.

Someone asked me once, what is the hardest part of your job? I’m very certain my answer took them off guard. I have a big heart, I’m a mom, and I know how quickly time flies. The hardest part of my job in all sincerity is wiping off dirty little fingerprints from windows, cupboards, and walls. Why you ask? Because a day will come when those no prints longer exist on every household surface, a day will come when these tiny babies are grown adults living on their own and that just hurts my mom heart. 🥹🧽
