My son Noah has been diagnosed with Potocki-Lupski Syndrome, a rare genetic condition that causes severe physical and mental delays. I have a cleaning business at the moment, but I often can’t do much with work, and until funds come in I need help paying for medical expenses, food since we lost EBT for now (not sure how long), loss of work, paying rent; the car payment; JEA bill, and car insurance. The car is used for the business and carpooling with my other two children. So with 3 kids total and no steady income, we really need help right now. I am behind on rent still from the first of this month. I’m trying to save as much as possible to save up for medical procedures that will be coming up and rent for the next month that I already don’t have.
I debated for months as to whether or not I should post a GoFundMe because it is not something that is typical for me to do, and I’ve already got some people in my life, looking down on me because of it, but then they also aren’t willing to lend out a hand to help- so their opinion shouldn’t matter very much.
I don’t want any of this for myself, I just want to be able to keep a roof over my head for my three children and keep this business going, that I put so much into, so that I can offer a good future for them. It will take a while before any Social Security benefits come in for Noah for his genetic disorder. And until the business takes off, I’m really just trying to raise as much as I can. Regular jobs with demanding and strict schedules are impossible for me to do with all the appointments and therapy for Noah. Even if you can’t make a donation, sharing this helps just as much to get the word out there. Thank you so much! And thank you for taking the time to read this!
