Chevy 2500 with custom steel fabricated bumpers and visor, getting a Level 2 detail plus polishing and our 6-month paint protection upgrade.
Off Old Baymeadows Rd in Jacksonville (32256). A build like this means more edges, welds, and tight spaces where dirt hides, so it takes patience to get every corner right.
Polishing refined the paint, removed light defects, and brought the gloss back. The 6-month paint protection locks it in so the truck sheds water and stays easier to clean.

I missed a spot, and it turned into the best ceramic coating demo I could ask for.
This maintenance client’s white BMW has a three-year ceramic coating. Over the last two visits, one spot on the passenger rear kept coming back extra dirty, which tells me I probably missed it when the coating went on.
Look at the difference. The coated paint around it stays cleaner and dirt rinses right off. The missed area holds onto grime. Same car, same roads, same weather.
I polished the area and coated it to match. We’ll see how it holds up at his next visit in six weeks.
Owning a mistake is part of doing this job right.

Step two of the trim restoration: protection.
Saturday’s second stop took us back to Liberty Square on the Westside for our newest VIP member. She’s the client who went from a one-year coating to the Sparta 5-year. With the paint polished and coated, the black trim needed to match.
Step one restored the faded trim. Step two adds a trim coating that locks in the color, blocks UV from the Florida sun, and keeps it from fading back. Now the trim matches the paint: restored, protected, and built to last.

Father and son maintenance day in Ponte Vedra Beach off Roscoe Blvd.
Our VIP client’s Roush F-250 lives outside and is protected by a five-year Sparta ceramic coating. Dirt releases easily, water beads off the paint, and the finish stays glossy between visits. A coating doesn’t mean you never wash the truck. It means every wash is safer and faster.
His son’s truck got the same careful Caldwell Care maintenance detail. Two trucks, one driveway, one visit.
When a client brings the family’s vehicles into the routine, that means a lot.

Saturday’s class at the Reformed Image Detailing Academy in Green Cove Springs 🚐
The class worked on a van this week, and because of its size we kept the focus on a basic interior and exterior service. Not every job calls for every step. A good detailer reads the vehicle, plans for the time available, and still delivers clean, consistent results.
The best part of the day: the same grad we celebrated last week with his certificate of completion has now been released 🎓 He leaves with real skills and a path to steady work. Congratulations, we’re proud of you.
The Reformed Image Detailing Academy was created and is taught by Aaron Caldwell of Caldwell Detailing, hosted by the Clay County Sheriff’s Office. It’s believed to be the only detailing program inside a correctional facility in the country.

Certificate of completion in hand 🎓
Proud to stand next to another Reformed Image Detailing Academy graduate. He finished the certification and will be released next week.
He leaves with real, hands-on detailing skills: safe washing, decontamination, interior care, surface protection, and polishing, all learned on real vehicles. More than that, he has a trade and a path to steady work.

The face of a detailer who just overfilled his buckets and drained the tank, wasting all of his spot-free water 😩
I’m in Middleburg with a new client who has two cars on the schedule. But it’s OK. I have a plan.
Here’s why it stings: our rinse water runs through a DI filter and reads about 1 PPM. Tap water leaves minerals behind as it dries, and that’s what causes water spots. Spot-free water dries clean and protects the finish.
Mistakes happen. What matters is how you handle them and that the client still gets the result they paid for.

Mobile car detailing Jacksonville FL — back in Panther Creek for a returning client, and this time the husband’s Kia Sportage was up for a Caldwell Standard Level 1 detail.
They added leather conditioner to the service, which is a smart move in Florida. Heat and UV pull moisture out of leather seats and lead to dryness, fading, and cracking. Conditioning puts that moisture back and keeps the leather soft for years.
Returning clients are the best part of this business. One vehicle, then the next one. That trust means a lot.
