Weekend weather heads up for pool owners 🌧️

A strong storm system moves in Friday night and sticks around through the weekend. Forecasters are calling for gusts of 30 to 40 mph on Saturday, heavy downpours that could drop 2 to 4 inches of rain in an hour, and higher than normal tides along the coast.

A few things worth doing tomorrow while it is still dry:
• Secure patio furniture, umbrellas, pool toys, and anything loose that could blow into the water
• If your pool tends to overflow in heavy rain, lower the water level a few inches (just do not drain it)
• Clear skimmer baskets and drains so water can move freely
• Turn equipment off during lightning, and check the pump and filter once the storm passes

Once it clears, get debris out early and check your water chemistry. Storm runoff throws the balance off fast.

Stay safe out there. If your pool or equipment takes a hit, send us a message and we will get you squared away.

Practice your swing, then cool off in the pool. Best of both worlds. ⛳💦

Not antisocial. Just have a resort in the backyard. 🌴 Spa, sunshelf, marsh views, and a playset for the kids. Honestly, why would we leave?
