Sainz rejected his Audi offer gives us a better insight into what his goals regarding team selection are. He has said before that a performing car is his priority but there is also an aspect of money that can change these kinds of drivers. Audi has been said to offer an “enticing” contract by Redbull. It seems that Sainz didn’t find the terms to be worth it in the end.

Hamilton has expressed that if he wants anyone in his team it would be Newey. Now that Newey is gone from Redbull, he has become a well demanded person. With the rumors of him joining Ferrari next week might see Hamilton and Newey share the track next year 👀.
