04-28-2026: Bowdecon was called upon by St. Louis P.D. today, to render one of their patrol vehicles safe for use after damage caused by an individual being transported. The unit has been properly cleaned and decontaminated and has returned to service.
Working with SLPD officers and staff has once again been a smooth, pleasant operation.

03-06-2026: Early this morning, Bowdecon was called upon to process the scene of a tragic, untimely mortal event in the northern central Michigan area. Working throughout the day, we have returned the scene to its pre-incident condition so the family can focus on moving forward.

Once again, dangerous cold weather is in store for us here the next few days. Be sure to dress warmly, limit exposure and time outside, pets included. Also be sure to check on family, friends, neighbors and any at-risk people you may know. This is a time to stay alert and watchful, especially of elderly/infirm people about us. A simple well-being check can literally save a life.

2026! Today marks completion of our 20th year in business and the start of our 21st year.
As in past, 2025 provided Bowdecon LLC Biohazard Management with several opportunities to help families enduring the worst events of their lives. For other families, we were able to make some incredible improvements in their environments by helping remove obstacles from their paths, both literally and figuratively. Our jobs sometimes included minor repairs that were identified during our initial tasks and some we were requested to help with well after our original work was finished. We made follow-up calls & visits with former clients to see how they are getting on.
For families and businesses alike, we decontaminated scenes of su***des, homicides, accidents, natural deaths and unattended deaths (human decomposition), drive-by shootings, vehicles, sewer back-ups, flooded basements, human f***s, animal/bat/rodent/bird f***s attics, hoarding & animal hoarding, et al. Other jobs involved the collection & disposal of medical waste, lab waste and sharps.
We trained to stay proficient and to add new services.
Along the way we have met some incredible people and made a number of new friends. It is our wish to be a blessing to others. We like to think we have succeeded, even if only in some small way. My personal thanks to my crew for their dedication and diligence on every job.

11-28-2025, 7:06 p.m., received the emergency call for service. 7:50 p.m., enroute with crew to the scene. 10:03 p.m., arrived at scene.
11-29-2025, 9:15 a.m. cleared the scene, enroute back home, scene processed. Arrived back at base 11:50 a.m., set up for next one upon our return. It's what we do.

Crash Responder Safety Week is a reminder that the people protecting you on the roadside need protection too. Each of these patrol vehicles was hit while our troopers were helping other motorists. These crashes were preventable.

Michigan’s law is simple: slow down and move over when approaching any emergency or service vehicle with lights activated. Move into an open lane if you can. If you can’t, slow at least 10 mph below the speed limit and pass with caution, giving responders as much space as possible.

11-06-2025: Today Bowdecon LLC was called upon to process the scene of an unfortunate, (natural) mortal event @ the west side of the state. With diligence we have returned the scene to its pre-event condition so the family can move forward.
