Water is back on, barely, but it’s enough to work. Hopefully by tomorrow it’ll be back up to full pressure.

Well, it seems once again we have no water. Word is that rural water district 2
Broke a 16” main and Inola gets their water from WWD2…. Is anyone else without water?

****** update, water is back on!!******
***** wash is now open!********

The city has informed me of a temporary water problem and we won’t have any water pressure until repairs are finished so we are closed for maybe a few hours today. I’ll post up again whenever water is restored!

***** UPDATE, wash is operational now!**

It appears we had a power surge last night or early this morning that wiped out the power supply board in the paystand for the automatic wash. I have a board being overnighted to me so hopefully I’ll have it installed and running sometime tomorrow afternoon (depends on when I get the board in my hands). The self serve bays are all okay though.
I’ll post up when it’s operational again and as always, thank you all for your patronage!

Hi all! The wash is up and running good. Today and tomorrow especially look good! I made a change to the top wash for the automatic so that everything is the same but done with one less pass to make it a little quicker to get done. Same amount of chemicals, just a little quicker. Enjoy the warm days!!

The wash is open!! Got the lot cleaned off yesterday and opened up today! Please keep in mind that when the temp are going to be below freezing, the self serve bays will have the brushes on the wall turned off to keep the chemicals in the lines from freezing but the pressure wand that has the presoaks, soap, rinse, wax, and spot free rinse will be on 24-7. The automatic will be open during the day, but when it’s too far below freezing, I have to blow out the chemicals and close it up until it’s at least close to being above 32.
As always, thanks for your patronage!

I have been adjusting the top wash chemicals to better get rid of the dreaded road film you see on the windshield where the wipers do not get. These films are a moving target on vehicles and different times of the year. Road film is pretty much the bane of car washes everywhere that are touchless. But, the washes with the moving brushes have problems with tearing off trim, antennas, and mirrors. Trust me, I used to maintain touchless and brush type washes after I retired from my real job in 2013. I've seen every tunnel wash (brushes) have large trash bins full of broken mirrors and antennas and trim pieces.. It's part of the risk of doing business with those washes. I've programmed in more of the chemical and also a dwell time to just let the chemical sit and soak on the film for a while. It takes time for chemicals to do their thing depending on the severity of the film in question. I've left the other two wash packages the way the were for those who feel it works for them. Try the top wash package and see if you don't think it's an improvement. I'll be monitoring it over time also and may make more tweeks as results indicate.. As always, thank you for your patronage! *****. Edit *****
My son took the phone to the Inola police station to keep until someone claims it.

Found a phone at the wash laying on the concrete culvert near the vacuums. If anyone suddenly discovered they can't read this post because they lost their phone, give me a call! 918 770-3770

I've finally got the new vacuums installed on their new pedistals! Both vacuums are the same price/time (with the big vac on regular vacuum. There is a turbo mode that costs a bit more per unit of time). The shampooer/spot remover brush is on the black hose. You can select either mode on the brush handle. There is also a fragrance dispenser that is on the blue hose. Currently the selection is vanilla, wild cherry, and new car smell. There is a button on the handle to make it spray a mist when you want it to.
Enjoy!
As always, thank you for your patronage!

We have made the changeover to the new "Mo Betta" chemicals for the automatic wash and they do a great job!! In addition to that I have installed "Tap to Pay" readers on the self serve panels and removed the old card swipers... no more trying to hit and miss with it reading your card! On this device you can just tap your chip enabled card and it will automatically detect it and you are good to go! Just push the button below it to stop the charges when you are done. In addition to the cards, you can also pay with your Apple or Android phone just by holding it close and paying with your mobile wallet.

As always, thank you all for your patronage!

P.S..... I have one more surprise coming sometime in the first half of April!

Some of you may have already noticed that the ceramic and wax coatings have gotten much better. We are finally beading water up on the vehicle like it should be!! The previous chemical manufacturer just couldn't seem to come through with the quality like they used to. Stay tuned, there's Mo betta things coming!
As always, thank you all for your patronage!
