Bestie... can we love on our community for a minute? 🤍

I know this video is a little longer than my usual ones (it's about 4 minutes), but I promise there's a reason. I even sped it up a bit to save y'all some time. 🫶 If you have a few minutes, please watch until the end. I truly think this is worth sharing.

I came across a post from Assisting Angels LLC that really touched my heart. They were hoping to sponsor a child here in Spartanburg County for back to school, but the response from families needing help was much greater than they expected.

Since then, they've been working hard to help as many local children as they can. Thanks to some incredibly generous donations, they've already been able to bless several kiddos. 🫶 But there are still children in our community who need our help.

If you've been looking for a way to give back, this is such a beautiful opportunity. They're currently accepting school supplies, clothing (including gently used items), and monetary donations to help make sure these children head back to school with the things they need.

Update on our sweet Diesel ❤️🐾

First, we want to thank every single person who reached out today with recommendations, kind words, prayers, and love. We truly appreciate every comment and message more than you know.

We called every recommendation that was shared, and I wanted to pass along the information we received so that if another family ever finds themselves in this situation, they have a place to start.

• Orchard Hill Veterinary Hospital (Inman) is currently not accepting new patients.

• The Spartanburg Humane Society was the most affordable option we found. Unfortunately, they weren't able to help until next week if you chose not to be present, or about two weeks out if you wanted to be present during the euthanasia. Sadly, our sweet boy couldn't wait that long.

• Most veterinary offices we contacted quoted between $500 and $1,000 for euthanasia, cremation, and having ashes returned.

• Smith's Animal Hospital charged $125 for euthanasia. For our sweet 70-pound boy, private cremation with his ashes returned was $275.

• Living Waters Funeral Home & Crematory also cremates pets. For Diesel, private cremation with his ashes returned was $180.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Smith's Animal Hospital. They treated Diesel with so much love, dignity, and compassion. Before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge, they gave him a Hershey Kiss and a Hershey Bar because every dog deserves chocolate at least once. It was such a thoughtful, beautiful gesture that meant the world to Bradley and me.

Living Waters Funeral Home & Crematory was just as incredible. They stayed after hours so we could bring Diesel to them after leaving Smith's. They treated him with so much kindness and care. We'll be able to bring him home tomorrow evening in a beautiful little urn with a sweet Rainbow Bridge poem.

Diesel was diagnosed with cancer nearly a year ago. He fought so hard and never let it slow him down. This past week, though, we watched him begin to decline, and we knew he was starting to suffer, even if he tried his very best not to show it. He was always our tough boy.

Diesel was truly the best boy. He loved every bite of food, every car ride, and gave the very best cuddles. He was Bradley's best friend for 13 years, and our hearts are shattered without him.

Our fur babies never get to stay with us long enough, but what a gift it is to love them for the time we have.

Thank you again to everyone who reached out, offered recommendations, shared kind words, and kept us in your prayers. We love y'all so big. ❤️🐾

Hey, sweetest friends. ❤️

Today, this has absolutely nothing to do with cleaning.

We are heartbroken as we prepare to say goodbye to one of our sweet fur babies. This is our sweet Diesel. 🐾

We're trying to find an affordable place that offers both euthanasia and private cremation so we can have his ashes returned to us.

I've called a few places already, and some of the quotes have been close to $900 for everything. We're hoping to find a more affordable option.

If you've had to go through this with your own fur baby, who would you recommend? Thank you so much for any suggestions, love, and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. ❤️

These baseboards weren't covered in grime, but they did have dried-on dust that couldn't be removed with a quick swiffer. It's little details like this that help a home feel truly clean.

As some of you may have seen, we made a post yesterday looking to sponsor one child with back to school help. What we didn’t realize when we posted this was the substantial amount of response we would get from families needing help in our community. 🙏🏼 We have received 30 plus messages of people with multiple children that have reached out to us for help. Some of these families have been hit with very unfortunate circumstances such as house fires, homelessness, job loss & economic hardship during this time. As much as we wish we did between the two of us, we just do not have the resources to be able to help all of these families alone, but we wanted to use our platform to ask our followers, clients, friends for your help! ☝🏻

We started this business with no other reason than a dream to help others 🤝🏻, to be a light ✨, show kindness 🤗, & provide a sense of a community to our friends! 👫👩🏽‍🤝‍👨🏾 It has really been laid on our hearts to organize this “Little Angel’s Back To School Giveaway 😇” not just for one child but for as many children as we are able to provide.
