I have been really slack here lately in regards to posting pictures of vehicles we’ve done. With that being said, I couldn’t imagine a better one to start it back up again than the one I did today. This 2015 Honda Civic was purchased from the sale and the owner lived up north so I can say this without worrying about the previous owner seeing my next statement. In the last 26 years that I’ve detailed vehicles, I’m going to say that this one is in the top 3 of nastiest vehicles I’ve ever done. I began cleaning the car upon arrival and had to stop so I could take some before pictures. So the before pictures were took after I had already spent 2 hrs throwing away trash and had started vacuuming. Since the main concern the new owner had was the interior, I didn’t include any pictures of the exterior since it was nothing more than a basic wash and motor cleaning. I didn’t think I’d ever finish but after 7 long hours I think it turned out pretty good. The customer was happy with the results in the end so that’s a good day. This Porsche turned out looking exactly the way you’d expect a Porsche convertible to look like. I’ve detailed the black Porsche that’s in the background of one of the pictures as well. The blue one was washed, clay barred, buffed with a wool pad using a heavy cut cleaning compound, swirl removing polish, glazed and a ceramic coating of hydro wax. I can’t thank everyone enough for those who called, texted or spoke to my family offering well wishes and prayers as I recovered from the spider bite and surgery! I’m blessed to say that I am back to working with 100% usage of my hand! It has been an adventure but with God, my daughter, parents, brother and friends being with me through it all, I made it! I was so excited about finally getting back to work and I didn’t take any before pictures but captured the end results.
