Meet Shawn Mata, the founder and owner of Firehouse Window Cleaning!

At the young age of 18, Shawn began working as a window washer for a Santa Barbara mom and pop shop. Shortly after, he moved to the Coachella Valley and was as employed as a valley firefighter. He used his "down time" between firefighting shifts to become an entrepreneur, founding his first window cleaning business. Shawn officially founded Firehouse Window Cleaning in 2004 and has been tirelessly serving the Coachella Valley ever since.

These days, Shawn is wrapping up his 34 year career with Cal Fire and is set to retire from being a Captain in April. In true Shawn fashion, he plans to stay busy during his retirement by doing windows full-time with his crew.
