Tile is the detail you notice every time you swim. 💙

Swipe to see this pool go from bare gunite to finished. The waterline tile was set before plaster. Once the pool was filled, that deep cobalt finish gave a clean, crisp edge against the water and tied into the mosaic accents on the steps and bench.

This build is at the steel and bonding stage. Every metal component in and around the pool gets tied together into one bonding grid, which keeps the electrical potential equal and the pool safe. It all disappears under gunite next, so this is your only look at it.

From concrete shell to backyard retreat. 🌊

Swipe to the end to see where this one started. In June, this pool was a gunite shell with its blue waterline tile and stamped coping just set. Today it’s a finished backyard with a stone sitting wall, natural boulders, a stamped concrete deck, fresh landscaping, and a fire pit patio a few steps from the water. After dark, the pool lights and landscape lighting take it to another level. 🌙
