Carpet bubbling after a professional carpet cleaning?
Don’t worry, this is 100% normal and one of the most common questions we get as an Indianapolis carpet cleaning company.
When hot water extraction adds moisture, the carpet backing can temporarily loosen and create ripples or waves.
As the carpet fully dries (usually 24–48 hours), it tightens and lays flat again.
No damage. No stretching. No repairs needed.
If you ever notice bubbling after cleaning, just give it a day or two. It will settle on its own.
