Today we’re celebrating Liz and her 5 year Jessi-versary 💛

Liz is one of the funniest people we know and half the time she doesn’t even realize how funny she is. Dry humor, perfectly timed comments, little one liners out of nowhere… she keeps us laughing constantly. We’re still trying to get her brave enough to do an open mic comedy night because honestly, she’d kill it 🎤🤣

She’s also our resident disco lover and can quote movies like it’s an Olympic sport. If there’s a random movie reference thrown out in conversation, chances are Liz is already halfway through the next line before anyone else catches on.

Beyond all of that, Liz is one of the hardest working and kindest people you could meet. She is carrying a lot on her shoulders as a single mom to an amazing kiddo on the Spectrum, and somehow still pours so much care into her work and the people around her.

She’s not someone who naturally gives herself a lot of credit, which is exactly why we want to celebrate her loudly today.

Happy 4 Year Jessie-versary, Lily! 🎉💛

For the past 4 years, Lily has been such an important part of Jessie Clean and the heart behind so much of what we do. As our Lead Trainer, she helps ensure every new team member has the strong foundational skills needed to be successful while providing exceptional care to our clients and their homes.

Over the years, she’s naturally become our team’s “gentle parent” - leading, coaching, encouraging, and supporting both new hires and seasoned techs alike with patience, compassion, and kindness. She has a way of making people feel safe, capable, and confident, and that kind of leadership is truly invaluable.

As a Midtown native, Lily is also our de facto “Phone A Friend” for basically anything local. Need to find the nearest mailbox? Ask Lily. Need help solving the Midtown News crossword puzzle? Lily’s your girl. Want to know what’s happening around the city before everyone else does? Somehow, she already knows.

Outside of work, Lily is also an incredible single mom, and we’re lucky enough to get frequent visits from our honorary Tiny Tech, Addie.

Lily embodies everything we look for in a Jessie Clean team member: integrity, compassion, a strong work ethic, and a genuine heart of service. We are beyond grateful she’s chosen to be on this journey with us for the last 4 years.

Kayla has been such a steady and grounding presence on our team this past year. She’s dedicated, hardworking, and incredibly talented, with a bright, artistic touch that shows up in everything she does. She’s thoughtful in her work, takes the time to really engage with clients and their needs, and brings a level-headed, even-keeled energy that we truly value.

Beyond her work in the field, Kayla has become our go-to seamstress, helping us mend aprons, mops, and dusters - always finding ways to extend the life of our tools and prioritize sustainability. 🪡♻️ And thanks to her background, she’s also our go-to for wine knowledge and recommendations, especially when it comes to finding great local spots. 🍷

Had such a fun night at The Wit Theater - Home of ComedySportz for the Indy/Indiana Rainbow Chamber of Commerce After Hours event 😂

They gave us a little taste of their improv show and it did not disappoint - soooooo many laughs and just a really good time all around. It’s one of those experiences that’s genuinely fun for everyone (yes, even the people who think they don’t like improv 👀).

Bonus: it’s all ages, which makes it an easy yes for a night out with friends, family, or even something different to do with the kids.

And let’s talk about the pizza from La Rocca’s for a second… so good 🤌

We love getting to connect with other local businesses through the Indy Rainbow Chamber of Commerce and this is definitely one worth checking out.

Feeling the urge to Spring Clean? 🌿Don't forget your dishwasher!

Jessie Clean hot tip:
A natural way to clean and freshen your dishwasher 👇

Place a bowl of white vinegar on the top rack of your empty dishwasher and run a full cycle (no dishes, just the bowl).

As the cycle runs, the hot water mixes with the vinegar and circulates through the machine - helping break down buildup, grease, and lingering odors.

It’s an easy reset that leaves your dishwasher cleaner and smelling fresh ✨

Quick note: this is a once a month max kind of thing.
Using vinegar too often can wear down rubber seals and plastic components over time.

We celebrated Kelly's 5 year Jessi-versary this morning and it was such a good reminder of how lucky we are to have her on the team.

Around here we call her Killa Kel and if you know, you know. When you first meet Kelly she is quiet and a little unassuming. But once you get to know her and get her talking, that’s when it hits you. The sarcasm, the wit, the perfectly timed one liners. She doesn’t say a lot but when she does, it lands every time 😄

The nickname comes from her killer wit and it still makes us laugh because she truly does not have a mean bone in her body.

Five years of showing up, taking pride in her work, caring deeply for her clients, and bringing her steady, thoughtful presence to our team. We’re so grateful for you, Kel.

Happy 5 Year Jessiversary, Kelly!

Today marks 5 years since Kelly joined Jessie Clean. She's an invaluable part of our team and truly someone we'd love to pause and appreciate!

Kelly takes so much pride in her work and it shows in every home she walks into. She genuinely cares about each client, not just the work itself but the people we get to work with. She is always thinking, always noticing, and always adding those little intentional extras that make such a difference.

She is one of our most senior techs and someone we rely on in so many ways. She naturally steps into leadership, supports our new hires as they finish training, and helps us keep a strong pulse on quality out in the field. She leads by example without ever needing the spotlight.

We are so grateful for the consistency, care, and heart she brings to Jessie Clean every single day. Five years is a big deal and we are better because of her 💫
