It is with a heavy heart that we have made the difficult decision to close Clean Finish, Ltd. Our last day will be on July 31, 2023. We opened this business in April of 2016 with the hopes of building a carpet, upholstery and tile and grout cleaning company that would provide top-notch service to our customers and to build a business that would remain family owned and pass down to our children.

We appreciate everyone that has put their faith and trust in us. You allowed us into your business and into your homes. You shared our name with family, friends, and neighbors. We are so grateful that you welcomed us - and for many of you – welcomed us back over and over. We could not be more thankful to you! You made this journey so worth it and many of you are the reason this was such a difficult decision.

During this last month that we are remaining open, we will continue to provide our top-notch service and cleanings and hope to see many of our favorite customers again.

Thank you again for your support of our small business and we look forward to seeing you around the Huntley area.

Slightly embarrassing story but, just want to give a shout out to a locally owned business- Clean Finish, Ltd.!They are not only a local family, but they do impeccable carpet cleaning and have the best customer service ever! Mike is a 🦸🏼‍♂️ in my book.

Let me set the stage… I work all day and finally get home and hustle the threenager 👧🏼and tiny walking 14-month-old 👶🏼to the basement to play while hubby starts dinner. My winter-hating small dog 🐶decides to sh** for the first time in years on our brand new carpet. I thought I picked it all up, no big deal. Apparently I missed a piece behind the recliner. How did I find that out? When the previously mentioned tiny terror walks out from behind the recliner with his feet literally covered n dog sh**. 😫 Literally both feet. Covered. Awesome. Did I mention he was chewing some thing? Thank God it was goldfish. 😆 I try to get out the giant streaks of 💩 in the carpet myself to no avail. I texted finish and within 24 hours, they were able to come to my emergency rescue and removed the mess and my carpets look amazing!

Thank you all for being patient with us and all through these unusual times. While we could have possibly stayed open to provide services through Phase 1 and Phase 2 in Illinois as an essential service who provide sanitation services, we felt it was better for us to close up shop and only offer service to clients that had more of an immediate situation that needed services.

Doing this was a difficult decision at the time knowing that you may have needed us. But, we are a local family owned business and during that time our family also needed us to be present. Our kids needed someone to help with e-learning and to be available for them. And we appreciated your patience.

As of Friday, May 29, 2020, we are officially OPEN to help you get that Clean Finish when you need it. Please understand that we will be following some strict guidelines to keep us all safe as best as we can.

We will adhere to socially distant guidelines and wear a face mask when applicable. We will sanitize all our our equipment between customers. We will adhere to hand washing and use sanitizer when water and soap are not available.

COVID19 UPDATE (PLEASE READ):

To all our beloved clients and those we have yet to serve, we want to let you know that while we believe we need to practice social distancing at this time and will be wrapping up any existing jobs, but will not be accepting any bookings at this time while the Illinois Governor’s Executive Order is in place, and possibly longer depending on what we feel is necessary to protect those most important to us including, our family, our clients, and our community.

Carpet, upholstery, and tile and grout cleaning may be interpreted by some as ‘essential services’ under ‘critical trades’ (cleaning and janitorial staff for commercial and governmental properties .... and other service providers who provide services that are necessary to maintaining the safety and sanitation, and essential operations of residences, Essential activities, and essential businesses and operations), but Clean Finish, Ltd. believes the BENEFIT of us SHELTERING IN PLACE is far more important than the COST of the loss this may bring financially... PEOPLE’S LIVES are more important to us.

We don’t want to put anyone at any additional risk from COVID19, especially those we love and those you love.

If you believe you have a situation that you need services for carpet and tile and grout cleaning because of a situation that may be unsanitary, PLEASE CALL US AT 630-899-9288 and we will discuss with you possible at home solutions or may make an exception to SHELTER IN PLACE if we deem it may be a severe health threat that we can help with.
