As I sit here on this Sunday afternoon preparing for the 600 to start i couldn't help but to stop, and reflect on the things that's happening in today's america . America is hurting the cost of living is high gas is high grocerys are high we are in a extreme drought the list could go on. People are working giving it all they have and it still isn't enough. As a proud hard working American I realize I can make a change maybe not on a big scale but on a small scale that could go a long way. I can be nice to strangers ,I can give a smile, I can call someone who I haven't talked to in years, and check on them. I can tip extra at the local restaurant I can mail someone a card there is so many small gestures that I can do that can hopefully bring a smile to hurting people. Life is short our next breath isn't promised let's make the best of it while we can. The blue collar man or woman is hurting the corporate 9-5 are hurting the small businesses are hurting the service men and women who protect our cites and this country are hurting. Mentally Spiritually Financially Emotionally someone is facing a battle and if you can help make a impact in someone's life in one of those categories do it. "26" has been a tough year for my family as a business owner I've been faced with many things out of my control. I've been reminded of the old saying my grandma use to say someone always has it worst son. So as I sit here im greatful for what I have it may not be much but im challenging myself even through my own personal struggles I can lend a helping hand to someone. I hope you all see this post and will join me we need each other life is short dont put off what you can do today until tomorrow. To our military past and present thank you for your sacrifice and your service. Lastly RIP to Kyle Busch may your light shine down on the nascar community forever. Thank you for giving us many years of great racing God bless your family your friends and the RCR team.
