You should have your vehicle professionally detailed for a few reasons. Having your vehicle professionally detailed not only keeps your car looking new, it is also a very important maintenance step that is usually over looked. Unprotected paint will fail prematurely, fade, oxidize, and lose its original luster if not cared for properly. Trim and exterior plastics can fade and crack if not frequently protected with proper products. Interior detailing can not only improve the appearance of your interior, it will also preserve your plastics, leather, and vinyl surfaces. Did we mention it will also remove allergens? If you plan on selling your car, it is a proven fact that a detailed car will bring in a higher selling price. Your vehicle is one of your most expensive investments, keep it protected from the harsh elements.

ATTENTION AUTO OWNERS!!!! DON'T PAY $50 FOR AN AUTO DETAIL!

Lately I've been seeing ads on craigslist for really cheap "details" for $50 or less; Let's be honest, In this world you get what you pay for! I'm a professional, and I'm a fair guy, but I won't do a detail for $50.00 Here is what you get for $50.00; someone to vacuum the interior of your vehicle, wash the exterior, and wipe down the dash and all other hard surfaces. Couldn't you do that yourself at a a car wash in a half an hour or less and pay about $6.00-$7.00 or less? A lot of people that don't do details, but want one do not realize that there's is a whole lot more work that goes into doing a real detail than just cleaning your car out...and for $50.00, I promise that's all you will wind up getting! The reason details cost more than $50.00 is because there are very important professional shop chemicals used throughout the process of detailing it; when steam cleaning it out to make the upholstery look brand new, and also on your paint finish to give it new car shine, and lustser, the tires, the rims, cleaning the engine, and the list goes on and on. These chemicals are not cheap. There's about 10 different shop chemicals used, and a real details takes a keen eye, and about 4-5 hours or more of real labor. Why should I detail my car?

For one thing, it saves you time. If you like to clean your own vehicle, you know how it can eat up a day if you really want to do it right. Second, detailing can turn an "eyesore" into "eye candy". Many people would like to get a new vehicle simply because the current one just isn't as handsome as it once was. A good detailing can help restore the showroom look and that new car smell.
