🤖 A European refinery invested in TubeTech™ to develop a robotic furnace convection section cleaning technology after dry ice and water jetting were unsuccessful and caused damage to the refractory.
The furnace cleaning robot accessed deep between finned tubes through small doors and improved cleanliness from 10% to an 80% production standard within a 48-hour time limit.
The overall cleaning result was very satisfactory, with no refractory damaged and a faster return on investment than expected.
