Starting Jan. 15, 2025:
- PG Pool and Spa will be making every effort to winterize our customers pool to protect their equipment. Freezing temperatures are forecasted in Houston next week.
Attention:
- Do not attempt to turn on your pool equipment while it is winterized.
Doing so could cause severe damage to your equipment.
Please wait for PG Pool ans Spa to notify you when it’s safe to resume normal operation.
Our Winterization Plan:
- Customers with Smart Controllers and Automatic Generators: Your system is designed to automatically run the pump when temperatures drop below 38°F, provided there is power. Ensure your generator is fueled and functioning properly to maintain operation during a power outage. If your system encounters an issue, please contact us Immediately for guidance.
- All Other Customers: We will manually disable timers and drain pumps, filters, and heaters to prevent freezing damage. Once winterized, your pool will remain off until the freezing threat has passed, typically 1–2 weeks.
- Power Outages: If you lose power, please contact us as soon as possible for assistance in properly draining your equipment before damage occurs.
Notice:
- If roads are icy, PG Pool and Spa ability to provide on-site assistance may be delayed for the safety of our team. Please plan accordingly and reach out with any questions or concerns before the freezing weather begins.
Customer Responsibility:
- While we strive to provide comprehensive winterization services, our Terms of Service specify that customers are responsible for maintaining their pool and equipment. We cannot be held liable for damages resulting from weather conditions or circumstances beyond our control.
Freezing Weather Reminder:
- Cover sensitive plants and ensure pets have warm shelter or bring them indoors.
