HELP ME PLEASE! My apartment has MULTIPLE Issues that I've taken pics/videos of, & had the property Mgr. Physically come into my unit to view. I've recently been told that I was moved into a "Construction Apartment" which was never on the market upon me moving in. Now, a week after I was promised a transfer, the new property Mgr. has filed an eviction, because I refuse to give them another payment. She told me that we need to leave the unit but has failed to transfer me, AFTER SEEING THE MOLD, & Water saturated in my floors. Corona cans in my cabinets, broken appliances, etc. Yet, they WANT their money. I hv money orders for my rent, but feel as though a judge needs to be aware of what's going on. I hv a disabled 2 year granddaughter, who hasn't stopped having a broncular cough for months. I understand you can't withhold rent, but what type of protection do the tenants have IN TEXAS? I hv a week until court according to this notice....smh...
