URGENT Pool owners.
Running your pumps will not save your equipment from freezing. See link below.
We're already getting calls of freezing pipes from homeowners who tried to keep their pumps running instead of draining equipment.
Once we're in a deep freeze, it's critical to drain and turn off your pumps.
Pool water temperatures have already dropped into 40's and equipment will freeze if you keep running your pumps and don't drain them.
We're only 12hours into freeze and have 48hrs to go. AND it's still going to drop below 20°.
